Think City meets EU Highway Safety Standards; legal in all 27 member countries (Int'l Leg. & Reg.)

Think Global reached another important milestone this week: the company secured an M1 certification from the Netherlands, so the City EV is now considered highway safe throughout Europe. RDW, the Netherlands' certification authority, approved the Think City EV under the Pan European Type Approval process, making it the first EV to be so approved. This certification means that the Think City can be sold in every EU country without requiring country-by-country safety tests.

"We had to go through the same paperwork over and over for every single country, and that took time and money," says Think spokeswoman Katinka von der Lippe. "With this, all of Europe is opening up to us. It speeds our time to market."
